Methow Valley Elementary School Supply List for 2009-2010
Following is a general supply list for the different grade levels:
Kindergarten: 1 box crayons (16 only), 1 large box of tissues, (3) 4oz. bottles of white glue (washable),4 glue sticks (washable), 1 pair Fiskar type scissors, 24 yellow pencils with pink erasers, 2 erasers, and 2 inch white clear view binder with plastic jacket on front (available at Daily Business in Winthrop or Twisp)
First/Second Grades: Pencil box, crayons (16 or 24), 12-#2 pencils, eraser, 4 oz. Elmer’s Glue, one large box of tissues and Fiskar type scissors. Please label everything with student’s name.
Third/Fourth Grades: (5) 12-pack #2 pencils, at least 200 sheets notebook paper (wide or college ruled, whichever is appropriate for your child), Crayola colored pencils (minimum 12 colors), 1 pair Fiskar scissors, fine line markers, 5 glue sticks, 2 large boxes of tissues, good quality hand-held pencil sharpener with shavings catcher, pink pearl erasers, a notebook will be provided.
Fifth Grade: Sturdy 2” (3-ring) binder, pencil pouch to fit in the notebook, 300-500 sheets of notebook paper, at least ten index notebook dividers, 48 #2 pencils, erasers, and one box of tissues.
Sixth Grade: Sturdy 2” (3-ring) binder, pencil pouch to fit in the notebook, 300-500 sheets of notebook paper, at least ten index notebook dividers, 48 #2 pencils, erasers, and one box of tissues.
*Optional but nice to have: scissors, ruler, tape and hand held calculator
