Methow Valley Elementary School Supply List for 2008-2009

Following is a general supply list for the different grade levels:

Kindergarten:  1 pencil box, 1 box crayons (16 only), 1 large box of tissues, (2) 4oz. bottles of white glue (washable), 2 glue sticks (washable), 1 pair Fiskar type scissors, 12 special pencils (patterned, sparkly, etc.), 2 erasers, colored pencils.

First/Second Grades:  Pencil box, crayons (16 or 24), 12 #2 pencils, eraser, 4 oz. Elmer’s Glue, one large box of tissues and Fiskar type scissors.  Please label everything with student’s name.

Third/Fourth Grades:  (5) 12-pack #2 pencils, at least 200 sheets notebook paper (wide or college ruled, whichever is appropriate for your child), Crayola colored pencils (minimum 12 colors), 5 glue sticks, 2 large boxes of tissues, good quality hand-held pencil sharpener with shavings catcher, pink pearl erasers, crayons, gel glue, $3.00 for school-provided 3-ring binder.
                 
Fifth Grade:  Sturdy 2” (3-ring) binder, pencil pouch to fit in the notebook, 300-500 sheets of notebook paper, at least ten index notebook dividers, 48 #2 pencils, erasers, and one box of tissues. 

Sixth Grade:  Sturdy 2” (3-ring) binder, pencil pouch to fit in the notebook, 300-500 sheets of notebook paper, at least ten index notebook dividers, 48 #2 pencils, erasers, and one box of tissues.         

*Optional but nice to have: scissors, ruler, tape and hand held calculator
